Wolff leads Winona State women’s hoops to 10th conference win

WINONA, Minn. – Katie Wolff, a 2009 Marshfield High School graduate, drilled five 3-pointers and finished with 15 points to lead the Winona State University women’s basketball team to a 61-45 win over Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday.

The Warriors improve to 14-5 overall and 10-5 in the NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with the victory.

Wolff, who has started all 19 games for Winona State this season, is averaging 12 points a game, scoring in double figures 14 times. This was the second time she made at least five 3-pointers in a game and has moved into eighth-place in WSU history with 88 career 3-pointers.

Winona State hosts St. Cloud State on Friday and Concordia University of St. Paul on Saturday in a pair of NSIC games.
