STEVENS POINT – Marshfield’s Katie Golden finished third in the all-around and Kami Oppman was fourth in the Tigers gymnastics team’s 135.025-117.025 loss to Stevens Point Area Senior High on Thursday in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet.
SPASH’s Megan Courtney won the all-around with a score of 35.075 and Hailee Mattmiller was second with a score of 34.050 for the Panthers.
Golden finished with a score of 30.175 – her top score was an 8.1 in the vault.
Oppman had an all-around score of 30.1.
Myranda Schmitt, who finished fifth in the all-around for the Tigers (28.175), had the Tigers’ top placement, taking fourth in the vault (8.55).
Marshfield hosts Medford and Chippewa Falls in a triangular meet on Tuesday in the Tigers’ final home performance of the season.
