Columbus Catholic’s Chris Lamermayer moves on at WIAA Division 2 Black River Falls boys tennis subsectional

BLACK RIVER FALLS – Marshfield Columbus Catholic’s No. 1 singles player Chris Lamermayer advanced to the semifinals of the WIAA Division 2 subsectional Tuesday at Black River Falls High School and moves on to Wednesday’s sectional at La Crosse Aquinas.

Lamermayer improves to 4-4 on the season and will compete Wednesday for a spot in the WIAA State Individual Boys Tennis Tournament at Madison on June 2-4. The top team in the sectional will compete at the WIAA State Team Boys Tennis Tournament on June 10-11 in Madison.

Lamermayer is the only Don to move on to the sectional.
