LOYAL – The Spencer volleyball team continued its roll through the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 3-0 win sweep of Loyal on Thursday night at Loyal High School.

Spencer won the match 25-7, 25-7, 25-14, to win its sixth straight Cloverbelt East match following a season-opening loss to Owen-Withee.

Courtney Schulz had 13 kills and three blocks, Aubrie Bissonette added eight kills and two blocks, and Kyleigh Hebert led the Rockets with 23 assists.

Dani Johnson had 19 digs and Paige Johnson added 14 to lead the Spencer defense.

“We came out firing on all cylinders,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “We passed, we set and we hit. Kyleigh Hebert really distributed the ball well. As a team, we served to the spots well.”

Spencer will play at the Stratford Tournament on Saturday and return to Cloverbelt East action Tuesday at Gilman.
