Auburndale girls basketball team roughs up Mosinee

AUBURNDALE – Nicole Nikolay scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Auburndale girls basketball team outlasted Mosinee 39-23 in a nonconference game Thursday night at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale improves to 4-3, while Mosinee drops to 1-7.

Auburndale led 18-6 at halftime and upped its lead to 26-9 after three quarters with a dominating defensive performance.

Sam Karl and Emma Steines each added five points for the Apaches.
