Marshfield JV boys basketball team rallies in third quarter to knock off Tomah

TOMAH – Alex Strege had 18 points and Craig Serchen added 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots to lead the Marshfield JV boys basketball team to its fourth straight victory, a 45-37 nonconference win over Tomah on Tuesday night at Tomah High School.

Strege made 8 of 11 shots from the field to lead the charge for the Tigers, who improve to 5-4 this season.

Marshfield trailed 20-16 at halftime before ripping off an 18-6 run in the third quarter to take control.

The Tigers play at Wausau East on Friday.
