RICE LAKE – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s and women’s basketball teams were swept by UW-Barron County on Monday night.
UW-Barron County defeated the Marauders 48-47 in the men’s game and 67-56 in the women’s game.
Jake Scheppler led the UW-Marshfield men (9-7) with 18 points.
Bailey Klieforth topped the Marauders women (11-6) with 20 points and Paige Albrecht added 12 points and four assists.
Both teams play at UW-Manitowoc on Wednesday.
