Marshfield boys hockey loses on road at D.C. Everest

WESTON – D.C. Everest scored five goals in the second period en route to a 7-1 win over Marshfield in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Tuesday night at Greenheck Fieldhouse.

Everest led 4-0 before Marshfield scored its only goal. Schuyler Seyfert scored for the Tigers off an assist from Bo Howard to cut the Evergreens lead to 4-1, but Everest responded with two more goals before the end of the period.

Colin Helke and Alex Yde each had a pair of goals for D.C. Everest, which improves to 17-2-2 and 8-1-2 in the Wisconsin Valley. Marshfield falls to 8-10 and 2-7 in the conference.

Marshfield hosts first-place Wausau West on Thursday.
