Marshfield boys golf team finishes third at home quadrangular

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys golf team took third at a four-team meet held on its home course at Riveredge Golf Course on Tuesday.

Brandon Brown led Marshfield with an 83 and Kyle Hoffman added and 84 for the Tigers, who finished with a team score of 342.

Stevens Point won the meet with a 303 behind a 2-under par 70 from Trevor Thomas. D.C. Everest was second with a 338 and Antigo was fourth with a 361.

Josh Berres added an 87 and Craig Serchen had an 88 for the Tigers.

Stevens Point won the JV meet as well, shooting a 332. Marshfield was a distant second with a 392.

Ian Pillai had a 93 to lead the Tigers.

Marshfield plays at D.C. Everest on Friday.
