MADISON – The 2012 WIAA State Softball Tournament was completed Saturday, June 16, with champions crowned in four divisions at Goodman Diamond in Madison.

Chippewa Falls, Baldwin-Woodville, Stevens Point Pacelli and Oakfield won state titles.

Chippewa Falls, making its eight state appearance since 2002 and fourth in a row, won its first state championship in Division 1.

Baldwin-Woodville also won its first state championship, taking the Division 2 title.

Pacelli won its second state title (2003) and Oakfield repeated as championships in Division 4, winning its fourth overall title and third in the last four years.
