MARSHFIELD – Rhinelander posted back-to-back 6-1 wins over Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a Great Northern Conference girls tennis doubleheader Thursday at the Oak Street and UW-Marshfield/Wood County courts.
Elizabeth Manlick posted Columbus’ only wins, taking 6-1, 6-0, and 6-0, 6-2, decisions at No. 1 singles.
Rhinelander improves to 7-0 in the conference, while the Dons fall to 2-4.
Columbus returns to action next week with home matches against Antigo on Tuesday and Phillips on Sept. 6.
