Marshfield boys basketball team knocks off Eau Claire Memorial

WAUSAU – The Marshfield boys basketball team knocked off Eau Claire Memorial 53-44 on Thursday night at the Big Rivers/Wisconsin Valley Conference Challenge at Wausau West High School.

Luke Zuiker scored 22 points to lead Marshfield.

The Tigers (4-3) play Superior at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at Wausau West.

Memorial falls to 5-5.

Marshfield used a 19-7 run in the third quarter to pull away.

Zuiker hit 8 of 10 shots from the field and 5 of 6 at the free-throw line for Marshfield.

Tanner Dennis-Brown added seven points and five rebounds for the Tigers.

Marshfield made 20 of 37 shots in the victory.
