A number of area high school athletic events were postponed on Tuesday due to an impending winter storm.
The Marshfield girls-boys basketball doubleheader against Stevens Point, which starts with the girls game at 6 p.m. at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse is still on, as is the Columbus Catholic boys basketball game at home against Neillsville.
Everything else on the local schedule has been postponed. Here is a list of events that will be made up at later dates:
*Wausau Newman Catholic at Auburndale boys basketball, ppd. to Feb. 14
*Spencer at Granton boys basketball, ppd. to Feb. 4
*Edgar at Stratford boys basketball, ppd. to Feb. 14
*Stratford at Nekoosa wrestling, ppd. to Jan. 31
