LA CROSSE – Jack Donahue tossed a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team to a 15-0 win over La Crosse in the Blue Demons’ opener at the La Crosse Junior Legion Tournament on Friday.
Donahue struck out 10, walked just one, and had two doubles at the plate for Marshfield.
Tyler Hiller was 4-for-5, Matt Meyer and Matthias Gouin each had three hits, including a double, and Jeremy Brost also had a double for Marshfield.
The Blue Demons play Osseo at 12:30 p.m. and Sparta at 3 p.m. Saturday as the tournament continues.
