STEVENS POINT – Daulton Varsho had a single, a triple and a home run and drove in eight runs to lead the Marshfield Legion baseball team to an 18-8 win over Stevens Point on Thursday at Bukolt Park.
The game was a Wisconsin Valley Legion League game and also served as the championship game of the Don Friday Invitational, which was rained out last Sunday.
Joey Mundt also homered for the Blue Devils.
Jack Donahue earned the win in relief for Marshfield.
Marshfield returns to action Friday at the Chippewa Falls Tournament, which continues through Sunday.
