Eau Claire North topples Marshfield boys hockey

MARSHFIELD – Eau Claire North scored three times in the first period and went on to a 5-3 victory over Marshfield in a Marshfield Boys Hockey Holiday Tournament game Friday night at the Marshfield Youth Ice Recreation Arena.

Carson Lemanski scored twice in the first period and assisted on Andrew Grey’s goal that helped the Huskies (3-5) take a 3-1 lead.

Grey added two more goals for North.

Bryce Gadke had two goals and Scott Berg added another for Marshfield (2-8-1).

Brad Krueger had 22 saves in goal for the Tigers.

Marshfield hosts Sparta at 10 a.m. and Stevens Point Pacelli at 6 p.m. on Saturday as the tournament wraps up.
