Marshfield girls hockey team loses in overtime at Baraboo

BARABOO – Rachel Pawlak scored 4:02 into overtime as the Badger Thunder defeated the Marshfield girls hockey team 3-2 in a nonconference game Thursday at Pierce Park.

Morgan Larson scored a pair of goals in the third period for Marshfield to tie the game at 2-2 before Pawlak’s goal in the overtime period.

Marshfield falls to 4-11 this season, while Badger Thunder is now 6-7-1.

Alexis Straughan had 30 saves in goal for Marshfield.

The Tigers play a Great Northern Conference game at home Monday against Tomahawk. The game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com with pregame starting at 6:40 p.m.
