MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Black team won five relays and had three individuals win on Tuesday at the 2014 Tiger Girls Track Indoor Relays at Marshfield High School.
The Marshfield Black team won the team title with 115 points, with Stratford second with 94, Auburndale sixth with 39 and the Marshfield Orange team was seventh with 12.
The Marshfield Black team won the 200 relay, the 400 throwers relay, the 3,200 relay, 200 hurdle shuttle and the 800 sprint relay.
Maria Brix won the pole vault (8 feet, 6 inches), Martha Kupfer took first in the triple jump (34-1) and Miranda Forrest won the shot put (34-0) for the Tigers.
Marshfield’s two-lap (200 yards) relay team of Gabby Stauber, Olivia Tierney, Emma Boson and Madeline Chaltry won in 41.97 seconds.
The throwers relay team of Miranda Forrest, Yasmeena Ougayour, Chelsea Akin and Rebecca Voss were winners in 1:36.08.
The 3,200 relay team of Melissa Brix, Dani Bender, McKayla Scheuer and Maddison Clemmens won for the Tigers in 11:11.32.
Ashleigh Sternitzy, Courtney Brown, Maddie Nikolai and Ashley Holubets won the sprint medley in 2:53.70.
Sadie Degrand, Briana Duellman and Jamila Ougayour teamed to win the 180-yard hurdle shuttle.
In the field events, Marshfield’s high jump team of Rhodes, Jamila Ougayour and Alexa Aumann; the pole vault team of Maria Brix, Stauber and Clemens; and the triple jump team of Kupfer, Nikolai and Ana Jensen took first place.
Auburndale’s Sylviann Momont continued her strong start to the track season, winning the long jump (16-7) for the Apaches’ lone title.
Stratford’s Brooke Schultze won the high jump, tying Stephanie Rhodes of Marshfield Black with leaps of 5 feet.
