Marshfield boys tennis edges Menomonie

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys tennis team improved to 3-1 this season with a hard-fought 4-3 nonconference victory over Menomonie on Monday at the Boson Courts.

Jacob Limmex came back from a set down to win his No. 3 singles match 6-7 (8), 6-2, 6-1, for the Tigers.

Marshfield also got wins from No. 1 singles player Bryce Gadke, and the No. 2 and 3 doubles teams of Dylan Handrich and Sam Trudeau, and Ofek Brautbar and Cole Wesolowski.

Marshfield opens its Wisconsin Valley Conference schedule at Stevens Point on Thursday.
