EAU CLAIRE – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team maintained its lead in the Mid-State Soccer Conference after pushing to a 0-0 tie at McDonell/Regis on Thursday at Carson Park.
Columbus outshot McDonell/Regis 15-10 overall and held an 8-2 advantage on goal, but couldn’t muster a score.
Evan Hansen saved both shots that came his way for the Dons.
Columbus Catholic is now 7-2-3 overall and 5-1-1 in the Mid-State Soccer Conference. McDonell/Regis moves to 7-2-3 and 4-1-1 in the conference.
The Dons play at Tri-County at 5 p.m. Monday.
