MARSHFIELD – Ryan Dieringer, Sean McCarthy and Charles Payant each scored twice, and the Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team rolled to a 10-0 victory over Wisconsin Valley Lutheran in a Mid-State Soccer Conference matchup Thursday at Griese Park.

Columbus Catholic maintains its lead in the MSSC, pushing to 9-2-3 overall and 7-1-1 in the conference. Wisconsin Valley Lutheran is now 2-9 and 1-7 in the Mid-State.

Hannah Stratman and Evan Hansen each scored on penalty kicks, and John Edwards and Farid Torbey each scored their first career goals for the Dons.

Alexandra Hutchison had two assists, and Charles Payant, McCarthy, Christian Payant, Tim Gruenloh and Will Atkinson had one assist each for Columbus Catholic.

Bailey Keffer had seven saves and Hansen added one to preserve the shutout.

Columbus Catholic hosts Phillips in a nonconference game Monday at Griese Park.
