Columbus Catholic soccer shut out by Phillips for second time this season

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team dropped a nonconference game to Phillips 1-0 on Monday at Griese Park.

The Dons (9-3-3) were shut out by Phillips (14-1) for the second time this season.

Columbus Catholic had just two shots on goal.

Evan Hansen had four saves for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic plays at Wausau Newman Catholic in a Mid-State Soccer Conference matchup Thursday. The Dons are tied with McDonell/Regis at 7-1-1 for first place in the conference with three games remaining.
