Columbus Catholic volleyball ousted by Prentice in WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal

PRENTICE – Marshfield Columbus Catholic could not capitalize on its quick start and dropped a 3-1 decision to Prentice in a WIAA Division 4 volleyball regional quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Prentice High School.

The Dons won the first game 25-21, but Prentice stormed back to win the next three 25-23, 25-21, 25-22, to move on to a regional semifinal Thursday at Wausau Newman Catholic.

Kendra Baierl had 23 kills, Sierra Litwatis had 32 digs, Jennifer Reigel had 21 assists and Bailey Neider added 18 assists and 10 digs for the Dons.
