AUBURNDALE – Auburndale rolled to a pair of victories to capture the championship at its annual Auburndale Boys Basketball Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches defeated Augusta 61-34 on Monday and routed Cudahy 71-41 on Tuesday to take first place and improve to 5-1 this season.
Matt Nikolay and Alex Marth of Auburndale, along with Nick Audi of Cudahy, Noah Plewa of Augusta and Dylan Pankow of Weyauwega-Fremont were named to the all-tournament team.
Augusta defeated Weyauwega-Fremont 61-53 in the third-place game Tuesday.
