Granton roughs up Columbus baseball

MARSHFIELD – Ezra Schier scattered four hits over five innings to lead Granton to an 11-1 win over Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Friday at Jack Hackman Field.

Justin Hasz was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three stolen bases, and Ben Eichten was 2-for-3 with four RBIs to lead the Bulldogs’ offensive attack.

Issac Welsh took the loss for the Dons, walking nine and allowing seven hits.

The Dons host Owen-Withee at 5 p.m. Monday.
