TOMAHAWK – The Marshfield girls swim team placed third out of five teams at the Hatchet Relays on Tuesday at Tomahawk High School.
Marshfield had on second-place and four third-place finishes for its highest finishes at the meet.
The Tigers’ 200 breaststroke relay team of Valerie Kushnir, Ryenne Zee, Morgan Nordbeck and Elizabeth Holbrook finished second in 2:38.69.
Taking third were the 200 medley relay team of Sophie Koehn, Holbrook, Megan Donahue and Zee (2:02.32), the 400 medley team of Zee, Malina Barker, Elise Ashby and Holbrook (5:08.11), the 200 freestyle team of Koehn, Holbrook, Donahue and Erika Roeglin (1:53.67), and the 200 backstroke team of Koehn, Barker, Ashby and Donahue (2:16.85).
Marshfield will compete again on Sept. 3 at Holmen.
Tomahawk won the team title. Team scores were not provided.
