MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team came up just short in a 4-3 loss to Medford in a Great Northern Conference dual match Thursday at Miller Park.

Winners for Columbus Catholic (2-2 GNC) were: Maria Garcia at No. 1 singles, the No. 2 doubles team of Neale Tracy and Lindsey Schultz, and the No. 3 doubles team of Catherine Pinter and Stephanie Johnson.

The Dons return to action Tuesday with a home doubleheader against Rhinelander beginning at 3 p.m. at Boson Courts.
