OSHKOSH – The Marshfield volleyball team finished 4-1, losing in the semifinals at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titan Tussle on Saturday.
The Tigers defeated Oconto Falls 25-19, 22-25, 15-13; Mosinee 24-26, 25-23, 15-7; and Brillion 25-20, 25-13; in pool play. In bracket play, Marshfield downed Middleton 25-14, 25-18, before losing to Oshkosh Lourdes 20-25, 25-19, 15-11, in the semifinals.
Anna Ripp had 123 assists, 38 digs, and eight service aces, and Stephanie Rhodes had a team-high 41 kills for the Tigers to earn all-tournament honors.
Ema Fehrenbach added 35 kills, Alexa Aumann had 34 kills and 12 blocks, Jenny Scheppler had nine aces, and Sara Dasler had a team-high 89 digs for Marshfield (24-8 overall).
Marshfield’s next match is Tuesday at Antigo.
