UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball loses at UW-Waukesha

WAUKESHA – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team lost for the second time in three days, falling at UW-Waukesha 89-64 in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference game Monday night.

Waukesha ran out to a 47-30 lead by halftime and held on from there.

Carrie Stroetz had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Jazwanna Ross had 13 points, and Hayley Bunnell and Kaite Meacham each scored 11 points for the Marauders (8-5 overall and WCC).

Waukesha is now 12-5 and 11-2 in the conference.

The Marauders are at UW-Richland on Wednesday.
