UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball blows past UW-Richland

RICHLAND CENTER – Hayley Bunnell had 19 points, nine coming in the fourth quarter, to help lift the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team to a 57-34 win over UW-Richland on Wednesday night.

Jazwanna Ross added 16 points for the Marauders, who are now 9-5 overall and in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.

UW-Marshfield blew the game open in the second half, outscoring the Roadrunners (8-3 overall and WCC) 33-16.

The Marauders’ next game is Feb. 3 at home against UW-Marathon County at 5:30 p.m.
