Regis overpowers Columbus Catholic boys basketball in Cloverbelt crossover

NEILLSVILLE – Logan Rohrscheib poured in 38 points as Eau Claire Regis rolled past Marshfield Columbus Catholic 87-59 in the first-place game of the Cloverbelt Conference crossovers on Saturday afternoon at Neillsville High School.

Rohrscheib, a Minnesota-Duluth recruit, averages 32 points a game for the Ramblers (20-2), who are ranked fourth in Division 4 in the latest Wissports.net State Coaches Poll.

Columbus, ranked seventh in Division 5, finish the regular season with a 19-3 record.

Hunter Schultz scored 17 points and Tyler Fuerlinger added 12 for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic opens WIAA Division 5 play Tuesday at home with a regional quarterfinal against Athens.
