STEVENS POINT – Columbus Catholic’s Farid Torbey took fourth in the high jump and Marshfield’s Calden Wojt was fifth in the 400 as the two teams started its 2016 season at the Point Boys Track Invitational on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Torbey had the Dons’ top finish with a leap of 6 feet in the high jump.
Wojt took fifth in the 400 meters in 52.12 seconds, just 1.1 seconds behind the winner.
Marshfield also had a pair of top-20 finishes by Carter Chojnacki, who was 17th in the 1,600 meters (4:58.88) and 19th in the 800 (2:19.10).
Fond du Lac outlasted D.C. Everest for the team title. Columbus Catholic tied Kaukauna for 18th and Marshfield tied Pacelli for 20th.
