MARATHON – The Stratford baseball team was shutout by Marathon 6-0 in a WIAA Division 3 regional final Wednesday at Marathon High School.
The Tigers end their season with an 11-7 record.
Marathon (18-4) moves on to the Division 3 sectionals at Bukolt Park in Stevens Point on Tuesday. The Raiders will take on Stevens Point Pacelli in the first semifinal at noon. Coleman and Neenah St. Mary Catholic will play in the second semifinal with the winners matching up for a berth in the state tournament at approximately 6 p.m.
