EAU CLAIRE – The Marshfield baseball team’s season came to an end Thursday with a 7-0 loss to Eau Claire North in a WIAA Division 1 regional final at Carson Park.
The Tigers finish the season with a 13-14 record.
Eau Claire North (20-2) moves on to the Division 1 sectionals at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield on Tuesday. North, the No. 2 seed, will play No. 3 Stevens Point in the second of two semifinals. No. 1 Eau Claire Memorial plays No. 4 Chippewa Falls in the first game at 11 a.m. The championship game is set for approximately for 4 p.m. with the winner of that moving on to the 2016 WIAA State Spring Baseball Tournament in Appleton.
