The Wisconsin Valley Conference has announced its spring sports all-conference teams for baseball, softball and girls soccer.
Marshfield had numerous athletes named to the teams.
Marshfield softball has four named to all-WVC softball team
Marshfield freshman outfielder Jenna Jakobi was named to the first team of the 2016 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Softball Team, as voted on by the seven conference coaches.
Jakobi hit a team-high .500 (21 of 42) in conference play with one home run and seven RBIs.
Marshfield sophomore pitcher Megan Donahue and senior third baseman Lexi Dupee were second-team picks, and sophomore catcher Emily Draeger was an honorable mention choice.
Donahue led the WVC with seven home runs and 24 RBIs, and was tied for fourth with 18 runs scored as she hit .487 (19 of 44). On the mound, she was 6-5 with a 4.45 earned-run average. She struck out 100 batters in 66 innings of work.
Dupee hit .459 (17 of 43) with four home runs and 11 RBIs. Draeger batted .439 (18 of 41) with 14 runs scored and a conference-best 10 stolen bases for the Tigers, who were 7-5 and finished in fourth place in the Valley standings.
Stevens Point pitcher Aubrey Drohner was named Player of the Year. She was a perfect 12-0 on the mound with a 1.53 ERA and struck out 69 in 64 innings, giving up just 51 hits. She also hit .487 with 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored.

Schwecke, Maguire named to first team all-WVC baseball
Marshfield senior shortstop Trevor Schwecke and junior outfielder/catcher Paul Maguire were among the 12 players picked for the first team of the 2016 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Baseball Team.
Schwecke hit .349 (15 of 43) with 10 RBIs and five stolen bases, and tied for second in the conference with six doubles. Maguire batted .395 (15 of 38) with 11 RBIs.
Marshfield senior first baseman Scott Berg was a second-team selection, while junior outfielder Braden Bohman and junior pitcher Jake Brueggen were honorable mention picks.
Berg led the Tigers, who finished 6-6 in the conference, with a .410 batting average (16 of 39) and was fifth in the conference with 13 runs scored. Bohman hit .326 (14 of 43) with 12 runs scored, and Brueggen was 2-2 on the mound with a 4.03 ERA and hit .286.
Stevens Point’s Matt McHugh and Gus Turner-Zick were named co-Players of the Year.

Three Tigers named to all-WVC girls soccer squad
Marshfield junior Maddie Haessly was a second-team pick, and Emily Critelli and Julia Urban were honorable mention choices to the 2016 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Soccer Team.
Haessly scored three of the Tigers’ 10 goals in conference play this season as Marshfield finished 1-10-1.
Dorene Sanchez of conference-champion D.C. Everest was picked as Player of the Year.
