MARATHON – The final Clover Valley Golf League meet of the season was held Monday at Pine Valley Golf Course as the teams played in a flight-format.
Flight winners were Mary McDonald of Stevens Point (No. 1), Brook Tuszka of Stevens Point (No. 2), Aly Wedward of Osseo-Fairchild (No. 3), Mallory Buetow of Stevens Point (No. 4) and Kaylee Hintz of Stevens Point (No. 5).
Marshfield had just two golfers this season and didn’t figure in the team championship chase, which was won by Stevens Point. The Panthers won five of the six regular-season meets and finished eight points ahead of second-place Stanley-Boyd.
Marshfield junior Roma Shah ended up with six tournament points, five short of earning honorable mention status.
The Tigers will compete at the WIAA Division 1 regional at Sparta Run Golf Course on Wednesday.
