GREENWOOD – Marshfield Columbus Catholic were held to only two hits and could not stop Greenwood’s offensive onslaught, losing a WIAA Division 4 softball regional quarterfinal 29-0 on Thursday.
Columbus Catholic had just two singles – from Olivia Larson and Haley Orella – and struck out eight times in the loss, ending its season at 6-11.
Greenwood (15-7) moves on to a regional semifinal Tuesday at No. 1 seed Athens.
