The Marshfield boys swim team finished seventh at the nine-team Chippewa Falls Invitational on Saturday.
Chippewa Falls won the team title with 484 points, with Marshfield seventh with 134 points.
Marshfield’s top finish came from the 8×25 freestyle relay team of Nathan Albanito, Brock Hamm, Anthony Hartwig and Eric Tollefson, which finished second in 1:41.11, 1½ seconds behind the winning team from Wisconsin Rapids.
Marshfield also had top-10 finishes from the 8×50 freestyle relay team of Hamm, Albanito, Hartwig and Alec Brenner (fifth, 3:35.84), Scott Thompson in the 100 IM (sixth, 1:04.95), Ben Donahue in the 50 freestyle (seventh, 25.58), and Brenner in the 50 butterfly (ninth, 29.62).
Marshfield lost a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet at Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday, Dec. 1, by a score of 95-72.
Zach Hanson won the 200-meter freestyle in 2:30.86, Jacob Dick won the 100 breaststroke in 1:24.54, and Brenner took first in the 100 butterfly in 1:21.80 for the Tigers’ only individual wins.
Marshfield’s relay team of Thompson, Hanson, Tollefson and Donahue won the 200 freestyle relay in 2:01.78.
