WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield gymnastics team finished fourth at the eight-team Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Saturday at Lincoln High School.
Mukwonago won the team standings with a score of 134.925, 3 points better than Ashland. Marshfield was fourth with 126.125 points.
Sophomore Emma Haugen led Marshfield in all four events. She was fourth in the vault (8.65), ninth in the balance beam (8.1) and uneven bars (8.1), and 10th in the floor exercise (8.4), to finish seventh in the all-around standings with a score of 33.25.
Macey Smith had Marshfield’s only other top-10 finish, taking fifth in the vault with a score of 8.55.
Tia Dorshorst of Wisconsin Rapids won the vault (9.25) and the all-around (36.775). Shelby Rust of Ashland won the other three events.
