Columbus Catholic boys basketball rips Neillsville to move to 11-0

NEILLSVILLE – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team has hit the halfway mark of the regular season unblemished after a 79-57 victory over Neillsville on Friday at Neillsville High School.

The Dons are now 11-0 overall and 7-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division, and knock Neillsville two full games behind in the standings as the Warriors are 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the Cloverbelt East.

Tyler Fuerlinger had 25 points and Hunter Schultz scored 24 for the Dons, who had eight players hit the scoring column.

Columbus Catholic plays at Colby on Thursday. It’s game against Loyal (5-1 Cloverbelt East) from Tuesday that was postponed due to a snowstorm will be made up Jan. 23 at Columbus Catholic High School.
