Marshfield boys hockey loses at D.C. Everest

SCHOFIELD – D.C. Everest scored four times in the second period to pull away from Marshfield and went on to beat the Tigers 7-1 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game Thursday at Greenheck Ice Arena at D.C. Everest High School.

Max Heller scored 1:16 into the game for Marshfield before the Evergreens put up seven unanswered goals.

J.J. Berdal had a hat trick and an assist for D.C. Everest (14-6, 5-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference).

Haydon Roy-Peterson had 52 saves in goal for the Tigers.

Marshfield (7-11-1, 1-7-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference) plays a nonconference game at Waupaca on Tuesday.
