Marshfield boys basketball whips Mosinee, wins sixth in a row

MOSINEE – The Marshfield boys basketball team finished off its regular-season schedule with its sixth-straight win, a 75-54 nonconference victory over Mosinee on Monday night at Mosinee High School.

Sophomore Brant Bohman came off the bench to score a team-high 15 points for Marshfield, which is now 14-8.

Ethan Posteluk added 13 points, and Reed Miller and Alec Hinson each had 11 points for the Tigers, who were 13 of 13 from the free throw line.

Marshfield shot 51 percent (27 of 52) and was 8 of 16 from 3-point range with five different players making a 3-point basket.

Marshfield will be off until Friday, March 3, when it hosts Hudson in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal.
