Stratford doubles up Coleman in WIAA Division 4 girls basketball regional quarterfinal

STRATFORD – Sammy Griesbach scored 15 points and Taya Nett added 11 to lift the Stratford girls basketball team past Coleman 50-25 in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

Stratford raced out to a 27-12 lead by halftime and limited Coleman (5-18) to 13 points in the second half to win going away.

Stratford (16-7) moves on to a regional semifinal at home Friday against Bonduel (17-6). Game time is 7 p.m.

The Tigers limited Coleman to just 10 made field goals and hit four 3-pointers, including two from Kaylee Hollatz.

Hollatz and Chelsey Gliniecki each had nine rebounds for the Tigers.
