Columbus Catholic boys basketball blows out Bowler in WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal

MARSHFIELD – Top-seeded Marshfield Columbus Catholic made quick work of Bowler, jumping out to a 36-point halftime lead and rolled to a 77-25 victory in a WIAA Division 5 boys basketball regional quarterfinal on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus (21-2) led 45-9 at halftime and saw 11 different players score in the home victory.

Tyler Fuerlinger scored 21 points, Jarred Mandel added 14 and Nick Malovrh had 12 for Columbus.

Columbus Catholic hosts Rosholt (14-9) in a regional semifinal at 7 p.m. Friday. The game will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com.
