STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League held six games on Sunday as the season continued.
Here is a look at the games:
A Division
*US Bancorp defeated Victory Apparel 61-51. Chris Murphy led US Bancorp with 20 points. Ron Klein topped Victory Apparel with 19 points.
*Prudential/Success Realty beat Nutz Deep II 71-55 behind 15 points from Cain Trunkel. Nate Lehman led all scorers with 17 for Nutz Deep II.
*Kafka Forestry edged Smazal’s Hunters Choice 76-75. Dalton Lehman had 29 points for Kafka. Hunter Busse led Smazal’s with 21 points.
B Division
*Davis Auto slipped past Weiler’s C-Stores 60-58. Kyle Davis had 32 points for Davis Auto, and Robert Rogers led Weiler’s with 19 points.
*LJ’s Sport Zone beat Lob City by a basket, 63-61. Eric Custer led LJ’s with 22 points. Mike Rindfleisch scored a game-high 24 for Lob City.
*Resource Recovery whipped Clyde’s Clubbers 58-41. Derrick Schmidt had 19 points for Resource and Ben Meyer scored 11 for Clyde’s.
