STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League continued play with seven games in two divisions on Sunday, March 26.
A Division
*Prudential/Success Realty whipped US Bancorp 71-47 behind 18 points from Cain Trunkel. Chris Murphy led US Bancorp with 13 points.
*Kafka Forestry cruised past Financial Strategies 71-46. Dalton Lehman had 15 points for Kafka. Nate Bennington scored 12 for Financial Strategies.
*Victory Apparel topped Nutz Deep II 68-51. Jordan Schlinsog had 16 points for Victory Apparel. Branson Witucki led all scorers with 20 points for Nutz Deep II.
B Division
*Chaps & Friends slipped past LJ’s Sport Zone 69-59. Dan Rammer had 24 points and Ryan Williams scored 21 for Chaps & Friends. Matt Lang led LJ’s with 21 points.
*Weiler’s C-Stores edged Clyde’s Clubbers 57-48. Danny Bargender had 22 points for Weiler’s. Brandon Kaiser topped Clyde’s with 16 points.
*Resource Recovery defeated Davis Auto 75-67. Derrick Schmidt had 24 points for Resource. Kyle Davis had a league-best 35 points for Davis Auto.
*Marshfield Country Club beat Lob City 62-50. Josh Hennes had 12 points for MCC. Mike Rindfleisch and Brad Guralski each scored 14 to lead Lob City.
