Neillsville rallies in seventh inning to beat Spencer

SPENCER – Neillsville rallied with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to top Spencer 4-3 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Spencer High School.

The Rockets led 3-2 after scoring a run in the bottom of the sixth, but Hunter Luepke allowed a pair of hits and two runs in the seventh to take the loss for Spencer.

Luepke had a double and scored, Caden Schillinger had a single, a double, and two RBIs, and Lukas Ellefson also drive in a run for Spencer (5-4, 5-3 Cloverbelt East).

The Rockets return to action Friday at home against Greenwood.
