GILMAN – Spencer senior Noah Zastrow won four events, including the pole vault for the fourth-straight year, to lead the Rockets to the boys team victory at the 2017 Eastern Cloverbelt Conference Track & Field Meet.

The meet began Tuesday and was finished Thursday after thunderstorms postponed the final events on Tuesday.

The Spencer boys won six other events to finish with 197 points, 35 ahead of second-place Loyal. Marshfield Columbus Catholic was fourth and had two individual champions.

Neillsville/Granton won the girls team title with 176 points, 16 ahead of Colby. Loyal was third with 88.5 points, followed by Spencer with 88. Columbus Catholic was sixth with 48.

Zastrow won the pole vault with a vault of 15 feet, the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 1 inch, and both the 110-meter hurdles (16.72) and the 300 hurdles (40.39).
