The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team and Academic All-State Team were released following the WIAA State Baseball Tournament earlier this month.
No players from Marshfield, Columbus Catholic, Spencer, Stratford or Auburndale were named to the All-State Team.
One player, Stratford’s Alex Kitchner, was named to the Academic All-State Team.
Bobby Juan of La Crosse Central was named the WBCA Player of Year. Westosha Central’s Bill Price was named as the Assistant Coach of the Year. The Coach of the Year award will be named later this year.
There were two players from the Marawood Conference South Division named to the team, and one from the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
Marathon junior Cody Hanke was named as one of two pitchers to the first team after helping the Raiders to the Division 3 state championship.
Pittsville junior outfielder Jordan Rayburn and Wausau West junior outfielder Brett Ziegel were honorable mention choices.
