Wausau West rallies to beat Marshfield volleyball

MARSHFIELD – Wausau West rallied from a 2-1 deficit to knock off Marshfield 3-2 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference volleyball match on Thursday at Marshfield High School.

The Warriors won 20-25, 25-22, 20-25, 27-25, 15-10, to improve to 4-3 in conference play. Marshfield is now 2-5 in the Valley.

Lindsey Steffen had 13 kills, Corianne Johnson had 45 assists and 22 digs, Kaydee Johnson had 32 digs, and Madison Nelles added 10 kills for Marshfield.

Marshfield will compete at the Neenah Invitational on Saturday.
